Does it seem like every time you turn around, all you can see are people who are fit and healthy, who have energy to do the things they want, who seem to be able to eat without thinking about it, and who have unshakable confidence?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, we should talk! I work with women who struggle with significant and overwhelming blocks getting in the way of living the life they deserve, and I want to help you, too. 

Maybe you have people in your life telling you all the ways to fix whatever struggle you’re facing: 

“Get more sleep, and you’ll be fine!”
“Have you ever tried changing your diet? ”
“If you worked out more, I bet you’d feel better.” 

But the fact remains that none of those things make you feel better, or even seem possible. No matter how many diets you try, the weight isn’t coming off (or if it is, it’s not staying off). No matter how many times you promise to get to bed early, you remain exhausted. And going to the gym? Please. Not happening. 

You’re tired of hearing everyone’s (well-intentioned, but still frustrating) advice. 

You’re tired of feeling sad, depressed, and completely drained of energy. 

You’re tired of being unhappy. 

I know how you feel. 

I’m Ingrid Cohen, a certified health and wellness coach who’s been right where you are. 

Like you, I’ve found myself scraping the bottom of the barrel, trying to find some semblance of peace and happiness in my life. I’ve struggled with significant blocks my whole life, including depression, food addiction (obesity and anorexia), childhood trauma, alcoholism, even cancer. I didn’t know how to be healthy, and I constantly felt guilty, like a failure for not knowing what my body needed to heal itself. I read books that didn’t help, saw doctors who didn’t help and prescribed medications that didn’t work, tried diet after diet after diet that didn’t help. 

Finally, I decided I needed to take control of my health and my life. I started educating myself, taking very specific steps to learn what my body needed.

I embarked on a path of self knowledge, performing an honest and through self appraisal .  I learned from teachers around the world and participated in many retreats and workshops.  I was seen by healers in a wide range of modalities.  I studied health and wellness like my life depended on it because it did.  I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and completed the Level 1 of the Spirit Junkies Masterclass™ led by Gabby Bernstein.

I was able to begin to heal from the struggles I had faced, and feel healthy, happy, and free.

As a survivor of Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma, I understand what it’s like to feel buried under the burden of poor health, extra weight, and a feeling of helplessness. 

After my cancer diagnosis, I made the solid decision that I wanted to live. I was going to fight through whatever life gave me, and I was going to survive. Cancer taught me invaluable lessons about resilience. It wasn’t until I became sober and free from my addiction to alcohol that I was able to identify the specific steps needed to overcome the blocks that were preventing me from wellbeing. Honing these skills and discovering my inner strength and resilience has served me well, allowing me to power through difficult times, take control over my life, my eating habits, and my thought patterns, and ultimately change my life for the better.   I”m committed to sharing these tools with others.

My passion is helping other women break through the chronic blocks that have been holding them back, and take control over their health and wellbeing. Whether you’re struggling with maintaining physical or mental health (or both), I will help you regain your footing, and cut through all the bullshit that has been preventing you from moving forward. I love educating and empowering women to live their healthiest life on their own terms, not plagued with anxiety, fear, or illness. I am a whole-food, plant-based vegan who’s obsessed with kombucha and good books. I love strong coffee, cheesy puns, and playing music at high volumes.  I live in a log cabin in the woods with my fiancé and our two rescue dogs.
